Bikepath Clockwise Loop

There are some real nice houses around the area.
Ten Mile River bikepath in Slater Park.

This was the third day in a row riding and even though it wasn't a lot of miles, my legs felt sore. So I took it easy because tomorrow night is a hard ride.

Warmup Loop

Rocky Hill rd.
Homestead ave.

Ash st.

Well my warmup loop became my only route tonight. I pulled Barbara's bike out of the garage and the rear tire was flat. So I'll take it home tonight and replace the dry rotted tire and put a new tube in too.

Tremont st.

Rocky Hill st.

Allen ave.

It was 91 degree's and very humid when I started this ride. I only had time to ride one hour, then I had a club meeting to go to. I just made it back, before we got hit with some pretty good thunder storms.

NBW Western Hills Ride

There was a big soccer tournament going on at URI.
MS 150 riders.

First rest stop at 18 miles.

Plenty of turf farms around the area.

So much for thinking I was going to do the 82 mile loop. After 9 miles my legs were shot from all the climbing at the beginning of the ride. I ended up doing the 42 mile loop instead and that was a chore. This is the second time I've attempted to do this ride in 3 years and have been unable to do the long loop.I also got to see quite a few riders doing the first leg of the MS 150.

Thursday Night Ride

We had the threat of thunderstorms again, but they never appeared in the area of our ride. A couple of us started out early so we could get the long ride in and still get back at a reasonable hour.

Nitro Time!

This weekends race is in Norwalk, Ohio. Check it out on ESPN2.

IT'S THE LAW!

Bicyclists in RI. finally got a law on the books that now require motor vehicles to leave enough space, to safely pass a bicycle. It's not a perfect law or strong enough in my opinion, but it's a start. Click on the link to read the press release. http://www.rilin.state.ri.us/news/pr_print.asp?prid=6601

Rehoboth/Attleboro Loop

Barbara and Tiffany joined me on this ride. It was a nice easy ride with a few side streets we haven't been on.

Warmup Loop

Pine st.
Cross st.

Woodward st. at Agricultural.

Panmass bicycle sign.

I went out for a short spin while I waited for Barbara to get out of work.

Hawks Destroy Lady Crusaders

This was a great header by Tiffany to clear the ball from the goal. The ball is in the upper right corner.

This game was over very soon. Tiffany's team just kept scoring goals and we lost count somewhere around 14. Tiffany ended up with 3 goals and 2 assists for the night. I apologise for the poor picture quality, the sun was in my eyes most of the game.

NBW Joe Medeiros Ride

We go by this rock on a few of our rides.
Cranberry bogs getting watered.

Here's a group of the triathletes.

Here's more of them.

There was a pretty stiff wind from the south, this lake had white caps.

The last leg for them.

I decided to do the club ride Saturday, because the weather would be better than Sunday. It turned out to be a perfect day to ride and there was a triathlon going on also. I kept running into them on and off for about 25 miles. I saw a bunch of them running on their last leg of the race and most of them looked pretty wiped out. I felt the same way by the end of my ride.
