Sunday Eliminations

Well it happened, they ended up canceling racing later in the day, after rain reappeared. There were a couple of shorter delays during the day when the rains came, but it would stop long enough so they could get the track dried off. Racing would resume, but not for long, before the sprinkles would start up again.

There was some great racing early on, with fantastic times.

We managed to keep busy during the delays, but by the last one, we were pretty cold and done. So we did the next best thing and found a tavern to watch the Patriots defeat the Bronco's.

The pictures with the flames visable from the headers were second round eliminations, right before they called the race. It had gotten that much darker out. Racing will resume Monday morning and we'll be there.

Intercourse, PA

Yes, that's the real name of a town in PA. It's heavily populated with Amish, so it see's quite a bit of tourists. Barbara and I headed down there to check it out before we went to the track on Saturday. We did some shopping and Barbara actually remembered some of the sights she visited there, when she was a little girl with her family. The best part was seeing the Amish dressed up in their garb and riding their carriages and scooters.
