Hurricane Earl

Things aren't looking good for us in our neck of the woods. Especially my son Thomas who lives on the Cape. Hopefully Earl will turn more towards the East soon.

Brandeis Falls To MIT 2-1

Do they look like their feeling the heat?
Tiffany was selected player of the game by her coaches.

Nice skyline of Boston.
It was a real scorcher out there yesterday, with temps in the mid 90's, it had to be at least 115 on the turf field.MIT came into the game with a great 2009 year, conference champs and getting a bid into the NCAA playoffs. Brandeis, has had their number, defeating them the last 3 years, so we were looking for a heck of a game. Brandeis came out strong in the 1st half and Tiffany scored her first goal of the year, at the 18 minute mark. Brandeis totally dominated the 1st half and things were looking good. The 2nd half started and it was like we were watching a totally different game,MIT took control and scored 2 goals to take the lead. It looked like Brandeis tied the score, but the goal was called back on a lame call by the ref. Oh well, onto the next game.
