| It started out as a pretty gloomy day, but the rain stayed away and the sun eventually came out, by the end of the day. Fast Jack Beckmen, did back up his 3.989 from yesterday and now owns the national record in Funny Car. Cruz Pedregon also joined Jack in the 3 second club with a 3.997. |

| Great 80 degree temps and sunny skies today. I got to see my first 3 second Funny Car run by Fast Jack Beckman. If he can back it up today, it will be a new national record. |
