Sunday Ride with John

Sunday Ride with John by paulmnbw at Garmin Connect - Details

John and I decided to skip the club ride and do our own ride down near the beach. We started at the train station in North Kingstown and took the bike path down to Narragansett.

We then headed to Gallilee and Point Judith, knowing we would soon have the wind to our backs, on the way back to Narragansett.

This area of the beach was loaded with kite surfers, I counted at least a dozen kites in the air at one time.

We took our first break here and refueled.

We hopped back on the bike path and  headed to the train station. Just after we finished, the rain came, perfect timing!

NBW Cape Caper Ride

NBW Cape Caper Ride by paulmnbw at Garmin Connect - Details

This was my first ride in almost three weeks, yeah I know, what a slug. John and I started at 9:00, because I wanted to get back early enough so I didn't miss too much of the Pat's game. Which I watched at my son's house.

As you can see, we had some great water views on this ride and we only did the middle route, the long loop has even more. It was perfect weather, not a cloud in the sky, it did get breezy though in spots.

Here we are in Woods Hole, just before we hopped on the bike path for the return leg.

Some cranberry harvesting going on in the back ground.

Wednesday Night Ride

Wednesday Night Ride by paulmnbw at Garmin Connect - Details

I only had time for a short ride today, but I needed to get on my bike, because it's been a week since my last ride. It felt like it too.

Wednesday Night Ride

Wednesday Night Ride by paulmnbw at Garmin Connect - Details

I don't know where the clouds came from today, it looked like it was going to rain out. It didn't though and I got a good ride in.

Ninigret Beach Ride

Ninigret Beach Ride by paulmnbw at Garmin Connect - Details

No bicycles! I don't think so. Some little sign wasn't going to stop me from checking out the paths here in Ninigret Park. So John and I proceeded down the first one, only to get bombarded by a hoard of nasty mosquitoes. They kept after us until we left the path and parking area. Needless to say, we skipped the rest of the paths.

Water views were everywhere, that's one of the reasons I like riding in this area.

The nasty looking clouds kept popping up all morning, but we never got any rain.
