Post Hurricane Sandy Ride

| My plan today for the ride, was to check out all the damage from hurricane Sandy on the south coast, along the beaches.I was hoping by now, that some of the roads would be open, so I could ride along them. NOT! Every road that I tried to go down near the beaches, was met with either state police or national guardsmen, preventing access. |

| This is what I dealt with at every intersection, heading to the beaches. |

| This was as close as I could get. You can see the construction equipment, clearing up the mess. |

| I thought for sure this road would be washed out, it wasn't. |

| Piles of sand, everywhere you looked. |
