These cars were backed up waiting to get into the beach parking lots.

John and I did this ride instead of the club ride. It was a lot flatter and better scenery. We started out at 8:00, while it was still cool out, but the heat came on later in the ride, big time. I went through seven 24 oz water refills,that's how warm it got.

Thursday Night Ride

We had over 1/2 mile of sandy rocky road,to ride on, each way, to get from the start to the paved streets.

The clouds looked pretty bad at the start, but cleared as the night went on.

This was a unique way to let walkers and bicyclists over a closed bridge.

Plenty of hills on this ride. This is RT101,YUCK!

This was not, one of our usual Thursday night rides. It had over 1200 feet of climbing in 25 miles and I'm feeling it today. I wasn't surprised because this area is very hilly.
