| Tonight's ride will be my last ride until next week. I'm heading down to Reading,PA. for a race this weekend. |

| The leaves are just starting to turn color and some have already fallen off their branches. In another week or so, we'll have peak color. |

| I rode into swarm's of gnats on the ride today,good thing I kept my mouth closed. |

| This was my first Thursday night, group, bike path ride of the Fall. We had eight people show up for it tonight. |

| Everyone got their preride activities done and we were off by 6:00pm. |

| We didn't need our lights for the first 45 minutes, so that saved some battery time. I haven't used my lights for this long of a ride in a couple of years, so I was a little concerned about their run time. |

| I started riding with two headlights this year and it was a good thing. One went out after about an hour of use, but I still had the other to get me to the finish. |

| I'm out in front here with both headlights still working. They light up the path pretty well as you can see. Not long after this, one went out. |
