One Thousand Miles

With Thursday nights ride I passed the one thousand mile mark for the year. Yeah, I know it's lame mileage, but for me it's the quickest I've reached it, since I hurt my back two years ago.

Clouds looked real nasty at times.

Roads were wet,but we were dry.

I finally got a chance to ride after three days of rain. I still had to plan the ride well, because thunderstorms were still coming through the area.It was our Thursday night group ride, this week out of Rod & Sue's house. I got there early and headed out early with John N. because we figured we only had a two hour window before more rain would fall.We decided to do the short loop just in case. We made it back without a drop falling on us.
