| This ride took place a couple of weeks ago, in the pouring rain, while I was in Vegas. John and i decided to do the 43 mile loop instead of the club ride today. It started off a little cloudy and cool and we did feel a few sprinkles at one point, but soon the sun came out. |

| The ride paralleled the Coventry section of the East Coast Greenway and we were able to check out the newest 5 mile section under construction. When this section is complete in the Fall, it will be the longest path in RI. |

| The ride took in some dirt roads, which I hate riding on, but I toughed out the first few of them and talked John into skipping the last 6 mile loop which had another one combined with a big climb. |

| This was our last rest stop and we got to check out more of the construction. |
