| My son Thomas surprised me this past Christmas, with a trip to Las Vegas for this weekends race. Pretty cool, huh? So Barbara, Angela, Thomas and myself are leaving Thursday. I'm really looking forward to leaving this ridiculous winter we've had behind and taking in some nice warm temps. |

| Today was our clubs Spring Opener, but it sure didn't feel like spring. The turn out was low, because of the cooler temps and cloudy skies, it's been a hard cold winter. |

| John and I decided on the 32 mile loop, it was a perfect distance in colder than normal weather. At about the 28 mile mark, I found a drivers licence on the side of the road and it turned out to be a club members. I'm sure he was happy when he found out I found it, he had already gone home, by the time I finished the ride. |

| John and i decided to check out the new bike access on the Sakonnet bridge, on the Tiverton/Portsmouth border. We through in the club Fish road ride in reverse to add on some miles. |

| The path is a couple of feet wider than most paths, so that was nice to see. We needed it with all the sand and other junk that was on it. |
