Getting In The Christmas Mood

Friday afternoon,  Barbara, Tiffany and I went to PPAC to see the Rockettes. It was a great show,their amazing!

 Football,food and beer,yummy! I can't think of a better way to spend a day,well maybe a bike ride too. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Tiffany's Career At Brandeis

Not bad if you ask me. Oh and by the way, Tiffany's not just a great athlete,she's an honor student too.We're all very proud of Tiffany!

Brandeis Bows Out Of NCAA's

Williams knocked out Brandeis yesterday 6-0. It was a tuff game to watch, but Brandeis should be proud of their accomplishment this year. This was also Tiffany's last college game :( but she'll be moving on to bigger and better things in her life. She's had one hell of a career at Brandeis,more on that in a later post.

Brandeis Beats Castleton State 2-1

                                            Bella was exhausted after this game.

This was a hard fought battle that saw Brandeis trailing 1-0 about 10 minutes into the game. But it only took 2 minutes for the Judges to tie it up and control the rest of the game. Tiffany broke the Brandeis all time assist mark with an assist on the winning goal.Tomorrow they play Williams College at 1:00.On to the next round, with more business to take care of for the Judges.

NBW Oneco Ride

 John and I were able to hook up and do this ride today. It was Veterans Day and what better way to honor our soldiers, than with a bike ride. This is a new NBW ride that replaced our Beach Pond Ride. We thought we would do the whole ride, but my legs gave out and we cut it short. We did 31 miles with over 2,100 feet of climbing. OUCH! I was so happy to see the parking lot at the end of the ride.

UAA Recieves Most Berths For NCAA's

Five teams from the UAA conference, that Brandeis is in, received berths in the NCAA's yesterday. Leading all other conference's in the country. The MIAC conference was second with three. Brandeis came in third this year and has some unfinished business to take care of in the NCAA's. Go Judges!

Brandeis Takes On Castleton State In 1st Round

 This Saturday the 13th, Brandeis will go up against the Spartans of Castleton State. Last year Brandeis beat them 3-0 in the first round of the ECAC tournament,Tiffany scored two goals in that game. This year they've improved and are the conference champs. It will take a full team effort by Brandeis, to defeat them this time around.

Brandeis Selected For The NCAA Playoffs

Brandeis received great news this morning when they were selected for the NCAA playoffs. They will be playing Castleton State,VT. in the first round. The last time Brandeis made the NCAA's was in 1988. They will also be the host institution for the first two rounds.

First Snow Of The Year

I woke up to almost two inches of snow in my yard this morning. I'm not ready for this white stuff yet!

Brandeis Beats NYU 2-0

This was the final regular game of the season and Brandeis came out with a win. Some of the girls were sick and some are pretty banged up, but the hung tough and won the game. Now they await their fate Monday to see if they got into the NCAA's.
