John And I decided to join the club start on this one. We needed it to warmup so every minute counted. We usually start the club rides at least an hour before the regular start time, but not this time.It was about 23 degree's when we started and 28 when we finished.

Barbara wanted to go out to eat last night so I only had time for a 10 miler. For some reason my Garmin wouldn't connect with their website so I have no data on the ride to display. Now I just need to figure out why.

Rehoboth Loop

I decided to take in some water views because of all the rain we had the day before. All the streams were quite a bit higher than usual. I also decided to go off course and see how the Garmin reacted. It told me I was off course but didn't try and recalculate a new one because I had that option turned off. It still mapped the course I took with all the usual data.

NBW Scituate/Foster/Coventry Ride

Lots of climbing on this ride.

This ride was a killer.I climbed one hill after another and they never stopped coming. I was sweating the whole ride. A very beautiful area to ride, but lots of hills.

Slater Park Bike Path Ride

There was still some ice in spots, on the path.

My Garmin as I crossed over a bridge on RT152.

I got a quick ride in after work Friday. I wanted to see how the Garmin reacted to the bikepath. No problems, it recorded it perfectly.

Another nice evening to get a ride in. I think I figured out why the GPS kept trying to turn me around on my last ride? I had to turn off the auto recalculate route selection. It seemed to work perfect last night.Hoping to get three in a row tonight, gotta get them while the weather cooperates.

I decided my ride last night would be without a course already in my GPS. I wanted to see how it would record and react to a ride I just rode and add libbed as I went. About a third of the way into the ride the Garmin started to tell be to bang U turns. Almost like it wanted to send me back to the starting point. I ignored it and just rode. When I got back near the finish point it wanted me to keep going. I'll have to figure out what I did wrong or didn't set properly.Garmin Connect - Activity Details for 12.5 Rehoboth South

NBW Dartmouth Ride #1

I rode this ride Saturday because it was going to be in the 40's. It was 36 degree's when I started and 44 degree's when I finished. About half way into the ride I saw another rider and it turned out to be our club arrower for this ride. His name is Mark St.Amour and he's only been with the club about a year.We talked for a few minutes, I snapped his photo for the Top Ten Standings and let him get back to touching up the arrows.Traffic was very light,except for the Mall area, which is always insane.

Tiffany's Birthday

Tiffany turned 21 on the 5th, but Saturday night was the first day we could get everyone together for dinner. We went to Spumoni's in Pawtucket, they always have good food at a good price.
